Biography

Megan attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA for her undergraduate degree. She earned a B.S. in Anthropology and Human Biology with a second major in German Studies and a minor in Linguistics. She then attended Georgia State University where she simultaneously obtained her law degree and a Master’s degree in Anthropology. Megan became a member of the Georgia State Bar in November 2008. Her first job as an attorney was at Clark and Washington, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was first introduced to bankruptcy law. After moving to Portland in 2013, Megan was admitted to the Oregon State Bar and the Washington State Bar Association. She has worked at numerous bankruptcy firms in Portland and began working at Todd Trierweiler & Associates in April 2019. Megan has volunteered with Girl Scouts of the USA since 2008. She spends a lot of time leading her troop of nearly 50 girls. She also enjoys traveling, quilting, dancing, and spending time with her cats.
