Ms. Melodie Michelle Dickey

Before joining the team at Gilroy Napoli Short, Melodie dedicated over ten years to serving as a Deputy District Attorney at the Marion County District Attorney’s Office. In her role at Marion County, she managed the prosecution of an extensive range of cases. This included Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, domestic violence, intricate property, and financial fraud, major drug offenses, firearm cases, and severe Measure 11 personal crimes like homicide. Melodie leverages her extensive knowledge and experience to assist clients during challenging times, navigating them through the criminal justice system and striving for outcomes that are both fair and just.Educational BackgroundMelodie holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Oregon State University. She furthered her education at Willamette College of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate along with a Certificate in Dispute Resolution. Personal LifeOutside of her professional commitments, Melodie enjoys quality time with her husband and children and loves experimenting with new baking recipes in her kitchen.
