Biography

Attorney Nora Leto has spent more than three decades practicing civil trial law, bringing a strong background in advocacy and public service to every case. Her early legal work included representing patients as a Staff Attorney for the Florida State Hospital Office of Patient Legal Services and supporting farm workers through Florida Rural Legal Services. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Leto values clear communication and personal attention, especially when clients are facing stressful legal issues. She has been recognized for her professional involvement, including her time as former Chair of The Florida Bar’s Agricultural Law Committee. Ms. Leto is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Tax Court, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also a member of NOSSCR. Beyond her practice, she contributes to the community through the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association, the Lakeland Bar Association, and Catholic Charities of Central Florida. A graduate of Plant High School in Tampa, she remains connected to Tampa and lives in Polk County with her husband and their three grown children.
