Ms. Safiya Webber Byars

Attorney Safiya Byars, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, leads The Byars Firm as its managing partner, handling immigration, family law, and estate planning cases. Her personal immigration journey from international student to permanent resident informs her empathetic and strategic legal guidance. Before establishing her own firm, Safiya served as a senior associate in notable law firms in Alabama and Georgia, gaining extensive experience. Beyond her practice, Safiya chairs the family immigration continuing legal education program and serves as vice-chair of the immigration law section for the State Bar of Georgia.
