Stacy J. Crider is a Partner at Hankey Marks & Crider, where she has represented clients since 2010 in Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, and Personal Injury matters. She focuses her practice on helping individuals and families secure the benefits and compensation they need after injury, illness, or other life-altering events. She has represented clients in more than 5,000 Social Security Disability hearings, bringing extensive experience and insight to every case.

Stacy is known for her practical, straightforward approach and her commitment to guiding clients through complex legal processes with clarity and confidence. She works closely with clients from start to finish, advocating for their rights and helping them navigate systems that can often feel overwhelming.

Before joining the firm, Stacy practiced criminal defense in Bloomington, Indiana, where she developed strong courtroom and advocacy skills that continue to shape her practice today.

Stacy earned her law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic, representing indigent clients in Marion County courts, and the Wrongful Conviction Clinic, assisting individuals seeking relief from wrongful convictions. She was also a member of Phi Delta Phi and the American Inns of Court. As an undergraduate at Indiana University, she worked with the Innocence Project, reinforcing her commitment to protecting individual rights. In 2019, Stacy was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

A native of Columbus, Indiana, Stacy remains deeply connected to her community and is a proud Hoosiers fan. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, running, kayaking, attending concerts, and spending time with her three children.
