Tiffany L. Webber is an attorney dedicated to defending
justice and righting wrongs within the Motor Vehicle Accident practice group of
Cory Watson Attorneys in Memphis, Tennessee.
Tiffany first developed an interest in personal injury law
as a young child. She was the plaintiff in a medical malpractice claim against
a pharmacy that had filled one of her prescriptions with the incorrect
medication, causing serious injuries which resulted in her hospitalization.
That first-hand experience taught Tiffany the importance of
standing up for herself and defending her own legal interests, a fight that she
regularly applies to her clients.
Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Arts from Duke University,
graduating as a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow and the University Editor of
the student-run newspaper. She then earned a fellowship to the University of
Alabama, where she graduated with a master’s degree in English Literature.
“My mom inspired me to become a lawyer,” said Tiffany. “She
always told me I could be anything I wanted to be, but then while taking a gap
year after earning my master’s degree, she encouraged me to apply to law
school, while reminding me that my ‘smart mouth,’ reading, and writing skills
would be well suited as an attorney. As I considered the likelihood that
becoming a lawyer would allow me to help more people than becoming a professor
in Shakespeare would, it seemed like an obvious choice.”
Tiffany earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University
of Alabama School of Law. During law school, she was involved in public
interest programs, the Black Law Students Association, and the Civil Law
Clinic, where she represented low-income clients with family law and personal
injury matters.
As an attorney, Tiffany handles cases involving bodily
injury due to accidents involving cars, trucks, bicyclists, motorcyclists, and
pedestrians. If you were injured in a motor vehicle accident, she is ready to
advise you of and defend your legal rights.
“Personal injury attorneys are supposed to make unfortunate
events less unfortunate and to help uplift those around us as much as feasibly
possible,” said Tiffany. “It is extremely gratifying when I’m able to do more
for people than what they even considered possible.”
Tiffany is an animal lover and enjoys spending time with her
rescue dog, Lady. She also enjoys giving back to local and national charities,
including those dedicated to supporting natural disaster rescue efforts,
leukemia research, substance abuse recovery, and those who are elderly,
impoverished, and homeless. She also regularly volunteers through the Duke
University Alumni Association.
Throughout her career, Tiffany L. Webber has also been a
dedicated educator, working within the University of Alabama English
Department, the University of Alabama Athletic Department, the University of
Memphis English Department, Concorde Career College, and private tutoring. Her
love of teaching has reinforced her commitment to serving the interests and
needs of others.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading American and
Renaissance literature, spending time with her family, and cheering on her
favorite sports teams - Alabama Football and Duke Basketball.
