Biography

Mykal Hill is a senior associate attorney at WSHB's Miami, Florida, office. He focuses his practice on both first-party and third-party insurance litigation, which includes negligence and complex commercial litigation. His ability to quickly analyze and evaluate cases has resulted in prompt and favorable outcomes for his clients.

Mykal earned his Bachelor's degree at Florida Atlantic University and his Juris Doctor at the University of Miami School of Law. He attended the University of Miami on a Dean's Merit academic scholarship and, during his time in law school, received a CALI Award for Excellence in Electronic Discovery. Mykal interned at the Law Offices of Carlos J. Martinez, Public Defender of Miami-Dade, where he gained valuable experience in the Felony Division, enhancing his litigation skills, confidence, and courtroom awareness. After graduating from law school, Mykal worked as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Mykal moved to South Florida at the age of seven. He currently resides in Fort Lauderdale and enjoys spending time with his family, as well as attending Miami Hurricanes and Miami Heat games.
