Biography

Myron I. Altschuler is a founding partner of the Firm and has practiced in the Landlord/Tenant area for forty-five years. Over this time, he has litigated several milestone cases in the New York Supreme Court involving commercial litigation disputes and entitlement to injunctive relief. He is known for having prosecuted successful non-primary residence proceedings against foreign missions to the United Nations before the Federal Court as well as defending several high profile cases involving claims of actual partial eviction in the commercial arena. Mr. Altschuler is also a pioneer in the practice of summary non-payment and holdover proceedings, both residential and commercial. Presently, aside from his busy litigation practice, he is the senior-most partner of the Firm's "Supreme Court" division and maintains a "hands-on" supervisory approach to the numerous and varied cases litigated by other attorneys in that division.
