Nataija J. Brown

Nataija J. Brown is a Partner in the Jacksonville North office. She practices in all phases of civil litigation, including personal injury protection and first party property. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Nataija graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University, double majoring in Political Science and Sociology. Nataija, continued her education and, went on to graduate from Jacksonville University, Davis College of Business and Florida Coastal School of Law’s dual degree program, where she obtained her Masters in Business Administration and her Juris Doctorate, simultaneously.

While at Coastal, Nataija was inducted into the School’s Honors program and received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. Nataija also received multiple book awards, Pro Bono Honors distinction, served as Academic Chair of the, Black Law Student’s Association, she was a Student Ambassador, as well as became a member of the Phi Delta Phi National Legal Honor Society. Nataija was the recipient of the 2015 D.W. Perkins Scholarship for excellence in service and academia, as well as the recipient of the Young Lawyers Division Scholarship for 2015.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Nataija practiced as litigation counsel for a collections firm, where she provided legal services to some of the largest creditors and lenders in the nation. Nataija, also practiced as a litigation counsel, at a general litigation firm, where she provided legal services to the mortgage banking industries as well as worked with a boutique business litigation firm. While in practice Nataija has honed her litigation skills, gained additional courtroom experience and participated in numerous mediations, all while gaining a wealth of knowledge of the civil litigation process. Nataija is licensed to practice law in all Florida state courts.
