Biography

Natalia Riveros-Jacobsen, originally from Bogotá Colombia, serves in an Of Counsel position at Michael Brooks-Jimenez, P.C where she advises on the history, eligibility, and strategy of deportation and family, immigrant petitions at the firm.

Before transitioning to an Of Counsel position, Ms. Riveros-Jacobsen worked at the firm as an attorney. Prior to becoming an attorney, she also worked at the firm as a legal assistant in the immigration department.

Ms. Riveros-Jacobsen is a 2010 graduate of Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she was also a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. While in school, she completed two internships with Catholic Charities in the immigration law clinic and with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma.

Ms. Riveros-Jacobsen earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in criminal justice from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is admitted to the bar in all Oklahoma state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
