Biography

Natalie Wayne represents corporations and individuals in complex federal white collar and regulatory defense and internal investigations, as well as in complex litigation in federal and state courts.

Natalie’s white collar and investigations practice spans a wide range of sectors and subject areas. She advises clients in matters involving corporate governance, health care fraud, internal investigations, qui tam actions, conspiracy, environmental matters, antitrust, securities fraud, consumer protection, the False Claims Act (FCA), and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Much of Natalie’s work is related to assisting multinational corporations with sensitive investigations which result from whistleblower complaints or government subpoenas. She has been involved in several high-profile internal investigations, including FCPA investigations involving China, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Natalie’s civil litigation practice involves matters related to business disputes, FCA, qui tam, mass torts, and antitrust issues. She has experience advising clients at all phases of litigation, including initial fact investigation, written discovery, defending and taking depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for trial. In particular, Natalie has deep experience in eDiscovery, including designing and implementing procedures for preserving and producing electronically stored information. Her recent experience includes managing a civil securities fraud lawsuit against the SEC; fraud claims against a financial institution; large-scale civil monopolization and conspiracy antitrust lawsuits across various products and industries, including financial services and eTechnology; and a Fortune 100 company’s nationwide defense of lawsuits related to alleged per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination.
