Biography

Mr. Carr is the Founder of Carr Law. Mr. Carr excels in the representation of individuals and businesses in tax resolution matters in front of the Internal Revenue Service and in Bankruptcy matters. Mr. Carr has represented taxpayers in front of the Internal Revenue Service and local taxing authorities during audits, appeals, collection due process hearings, offer in compromise filings, innocent spouse defense matters, discharging tax liabilities in bankruptcy and in the removal of continuous wage levies and bank levies on taxpayers who are experiencing hardships. Additionally, Mr. Carr has represented debtors in US Bankruptcy Court and in Bankruptcy related hearings. Mr. Carr understands the complicated procedures of the Internal Revenue Service and he understands the procedures of the Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Carr knows how to assist his clients in getting resolution from their tax and debt problems.

Mr. Carr received his B.A. in Spanish with a Minor in Business Management from Weber State University and his J.D. from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Additionally, Mr. Carr has a post J.D. Degree, a Master's in Law in Taxation (LL.M), from the University of Denver College of Law/University of Denver Daniels College of Business. Mr. Carr is currently a member of the American Bar Association Taxation Section.

Mr. Carr is licensed to practice law in Arizona and Utah and the Federal District Courts, including Bankruptcy Court, for those two jurisdictions. Mr. Carr is also licensed to practice in U.S Tax Court. As a licensed attorney, Mr. Carr can represent taxpayers from all 50 States in front of the Internal Revenue Service and with their specific federal tax matters and issues. In fact, Mr. Carr has represented taxpayers residing in Arizona, Utah, California, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Colorado, Massachusetts, Missouri and Michigan.
