Biography

Nathaniel Nichols joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP in June 2024. Mr. Nichols joins the firm after serving as a Senior Associate at Roemer Wallens Gold & Mineaux LLP for over four years. He previously served for three and a half years as an Associate Counsel for a labor union that represents employees of New York State, after also serving two years as a Law Clerk to that union. Nate concentrates his practice in labor and employment law, focusing on public sector labor relations. He has participated in numerous arbitrations, investigations, contract negotiations, trainings, and fact findings. He has also represented parties before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, New York State Department of Labor, and he has practiced extensively in matters before the courts of the State of New York, including appellate courts.

Mr. Nichols graduated cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University. Mr. Nichols also graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling and magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University at Albany.
