Neal Howard Lewis

Neal H. Lewis is a director in the firm's litigation section. His practice concentration is civil litigation, including medical malpractice defense, employment law, and general commercial litigation - with particular emphasis on defending healthcare providers. Mr. Lewis has participated in a wide variety of litigation matters including patient falls, patient suicide, dental negligence claims, gastric bypass, premises liability and Certificate of Public Need litigation.

Mr. Lewis received his B.A. in Political Science, from the University of Houston Honors College. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams College of Law. While in law school, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Richmond Journal of Law & Technology, Senior Staff for the Richmond Journal of Global Law and Business, and an Honor Court Justice. Mr. Lewis also served as a teaching assistant for the introductory legal skills class at the University of Richmond and served as a teaching assistant for the University's innovative Medical Malpractice class taught simultaneously to law students and healthcare providers.
