Neil P. Thompson

Neil Thompson was born and raised in Minneapolis, and his career has always been driven by a desire to help people. He began at the University of Minnesota studying pharmacy, later working as a pharmacist and eventually owning his own pharmacies. Over time, he became frustrated with how the industry treated independent pharmacies, and one day on the job he realized he had the basis for a class action lawsuit on behalf of underpaid pharmacies across Minnesota. Rather than hand the idea off to someone else, Neil decided to become the attorney who could lead the fight. He earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and, after joining the Minnesota Bar, filed the case and recovered nearly $4 million for pharmacies statewide. He later took on whistleblower matters, helping clients and the government obtain more than $52 million through settlement proceedings. With firsthand experience running businesses and years of legal work, Neil also advises small businesses on organization, employment, financing, and regulatory concerns.
