This is the first bad review I've ever given another attorney but I can say that Mr. Owens is not only unethical when put in certain positions, his legal ability is sub-standard. He is not only an underachiever, but his self-confidence is far inflated. I know of many circumstances where Mr. Owens did not represent his clients adequately. He has overcharged in certain cases and his experience level was not high enough to even take on the case. His reputation is not of a high caliber in this area Read less

I have much personal knowledge about Mr. Owens and his practice of law. He is one of the few lawyers I know that should NOT be practicing law. He is consistently late for court, is hardly ever prepared, and even did so poorly in a jury trial that the judge mentioned that had his client filed a pro se motion for ineffective assistance of counsel, he would've granted it. Mr. Owens is delinquent on paying bills, consistently gives bad advice when counseling clients-etc. he is not respected at all. Read less
