Nicholas J. Trost is a professional
working with Parnall Law, representing individuals who have suffered injuries
due to the negligence of others. Prior to joining Parnall Law, he worked for a
law firm defending insurance companies against claims brought by injured
individuals.
Nicholas grew up in Albuquerque and
attended Bosque School, where he was awarded the Gerald R. Ford Character Award
for his embodiment of the school's core values of Scholarship, Community, and
Integrity. He then pursued a degree in Communications—Journalism at the
University of Washington, graduating magna cum laude in 2010. It was during his
time at KIRO-7 TV, Seattle's CBS affiliate, that he decided to become a lawyer
to make a larger impact on the world.
He returned to New Mexico after
graduation and attended the University of New Mexico School of Law. During his
time there, he was a member of the New Mexico Law Review and the ABA Moot Court
Team, and he graduated cum laude in 2013. Initially, he handled
insurance-defense cases as an attorney with an Albuquerque law firm but
realized his preference for representing plaintiffs after working on a case
involving an injured individual in a motor-vehicle accident.
When the opportunity arose to join
the Parnall Law Team, Nicholas eagerly took it, considering it one of the
highlights of his personal and professional life. He finds great satisfaction
in fighting for his clients and helping them rebuild their lives after
traumatic incidents. He no longer represents insurance companies but instead
focuses on advocating for individuals against such entities.
In addition to his professional
pursuits, Nicholas is an avid fan of the University of Washington Huskies
football team, enjoys playing golf, and cherishes spending time with his
family. His wife, Quiana, and his two daughters, Adelina and Paloma, are
sources of love and inspiration in his life. He also has a Spanish Water Dog
named Cádiz.
Nicholas J. Trost is a member of the
American Bar Association and likely maintains other professional and bar
association memberships relevant to his legal practice.
