Biography

Nicholas Harris represents victims of toxic exposure, as well as patients harmed by medical drugs and devices.

Nick is a part of the team litigating against Monsanto and Bayer alleging an increased risk of cancer due to exposure to their pesticide Roundup . Additionally, he seeks justice for farmers, railroad workers, and others who developed Parkinson’s Disease after exposure to Paraquat weed killer.

Prior to joining Motley Rice, Nick worked as an Assistant Solicitor with the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Charleston, S.C. During his time there, Nick prosecuted rape, domestic violence, and stalking cases as a Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) grant prosecutor. Nick also assisted with trials involving child rape victims.

While completing his legal studies, Nick was a civil litigation and criminal law clerk with two Charleston law firms as well as a Legal Research, Analysis and Writing fellow at the Charleston School of Law. He also volunteered with the Street Law Clinic teaching a weekly basic law course on topics such as criminal law, the U.S. Constitution, contract law, and torts at underprivileged schools. Nick was a four-year starter for the College of Charleston basketball team. including the 2018 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championship season and was named the 2019 team captain.
