Biography

Nicholas Barnes, an associate in the Litigation Practice of Greenberg Traurig’s New York office, focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense and government investigations. Prior to joining the firm, Nick served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where he investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of felony matters, including, but not limited to, violent crimes, sexual assaults, narcotics trafficking, and financial frauds. He has conducted 12 trials to verdict, drafting and arguing related motions, hearings, and appeals.
