Nicole Ziegler

Nicole Ziegler has been a practicing appellate and trial attorney in Tampa Bay since 2010. Nicole was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Appellate law in 2017, and she joined Emerson Straw in 2018.

Nicole graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, ranking among the top 2% in her class. She was the Business Editor of the Florida Coastal Law Review while in law school. Nicole also served as a judicial intern to Florida Supreme Court Justice Ricky Polston and former Justice Kenneth Bell.

Nicole graduated Valedictorian from the University of Saint Francis, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts. Beyond her collegiate studies, Nicole was the captain of the University of Saint Francis women’s soccer team. She was selected to the ESPN The Magazine All-American team and was recognized as an Honorable Mention All-American women’s soccer player.

Nicole joined the law firm Keane, Reese, Vesely & Gerdes as an associate in 2010. She then became a partner and represented clients in variety of appellate and civil litigation matters including child abuse, catastrophic injury, automobile accident cases, business and commercial matters, and wrongful death.

Nicole is a member of the Florida Bar and serves on the Appellate Court Rules Committee. She is also actively involved in the Tampa Bay community through the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg, Leadership St. Petersburg, and coaching youth soccer. Nicole was raised in Dayton, Ohio and presently resides in Palm Harbor, Florida with her husband and two children.
