Nisrine El Haddad joined SADER & Associates in 2004, as a specialist in intellectual property rights and entertainment law.
El Haddad heads the intellectual property department of the firm, representing high profile local, regional and international corporations, in Lebanon and the Middle East. She provides legal consultancy to clients on IP and corporate matters, drafts and prepares agreements and other legal documents for companies' registration. She also handles trademark registration for clients on national, regional and international scale.
El Haddad has been quite successful in putting together strategies against counterfeiting and upholding a brand's reputation and status in the Lebanese market. Moreover, as part of the strategy she provides clients with in depth reports on all matters relating to their IP rights.
El Haddad handles the daily law firm management duties, and ensures that the work of clients is promptly and properly completed and systems and procedures effectively developed for the firm's needs.
Having been highly successful in the practice of intellectual property, her additional specializations include commercial law, copyright, patents, corporate law, contract law, entertainment law, and joint ventures, among others.
El Haddad monitors the sector by participating in IP research projects, providing trainings in Lebanon and Arab countries on IP and attending conferences and seminars pertaining to the latest issues affecting the field.
Certifications
- In June 2014, The America – Middle East Educational and Training Services, Inc. (AMIDEAST) granted El Haddad the presentation skills certificate, for having completed an interactive workshop held at the AMIDEAST center in Beirut.
- In March 2014, El Haddad was among the pioneers to receive a certificate in the very first FIDIC contracts workshop in Lebanon.
- In 2013, El Haddad received a new certificate from “WIPO Training of Trainers on effective intellectual property asset management by SMEs”.
- In 2006, El Haddad received a certification from the British Council for “Advanced English for contract and company law”.
