Norwood David DuRant

Licensed in the state of South Carolina since 1983, David DuRant is one of the longest practicing attorneys in Surfside Beach SC, starting his practice here in 1984. His primary practice areas are Civil Litigation, Real Estate and Probate. Coined the “Bulldog” for his persistence, tenacity and loyalty, these qualities have become the essence of The Law Offices of N. David DuRant & Associates culture. David has appeared before multiple South Carolina Administrative Courts including Municipal Court, Family Court, Probate Court, Magistrate Court, Court of Common Please, General Sessions, Administrative Law Court, Workers' Compensation Claims Court, South Carolina Court of Appeals, South Carolina Supreme Court and United States Bankruptcy Court as well as trying cases in Federal District Court in Florence and Charleston County. He represented the Town of Surfside Beach for 22 years and is, and has been, the Attorney for the Town of Pawleys Island since 1996. David is a member of the Murrells Inlet Rotary Club, a board member of the South Strand Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the South Carolina Bar.
