Biography

Olivia Hester is from Bowling Green, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky and graduated with honors in 2018. Olivia then attended the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she graduated with honors in 2021. During her time in law school, she was a CALI award recipient, awarded for teaching in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Program, and represented defendants in the Kentucky Innocence Project. Olivia was a member and published author of the Journal of Animal and Environmental Law, and participated in the Human Rights Advocacy Program.

Olivia began practicing law as a criminal defense attorney. She began litigating cases immediately and has gained years of courtroom experience. She learned through this experience that her passion is helping people tell their story.

Since she began practicing law in 2022, Olivia has served as an adjunct professor at Western Kentucky University, teaching Mock Trial. Olivia serves on the Board of the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association, and the Board of the Young Lawyers Division of the Kentucky Bar Association. She is admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.
