Ora Schwartzberg

Ora Schwartzberg has practiced law since 1985, bringing a rare mix of legal skill and people-centered insight to her work. After graduating from Vermont Law School, she built on earlier training that included a master’s degree in counseling from SUNY Plattsburgh and an education degree from Temple University. Before entering law, she taught at an inner-city high school and even ran a cactus business as a street vendor in downtown Philadelphia. She began her legal career in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, New York, practicing there until 2002, when she passed the New Hampshire Bar and moved to New Hampshire. Deeply involved in the profession, she is an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and has served as President of the Grafton County Bar Association, Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and a two-term member of the Bar Association’s Board of Governors. She currently serves on the Legislative Committee and is a Fellow of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation. In recent years, her practice has focused on estate planning and administration, including wills, trusts, and probate and trust administration. She is also a NH Certified Marital Mediator, a Certified Collaborative Law Attorney, and a Certified Financial Litigator.
