Biography

Pamela J. Tillman’s practice focuses on representing a wide variety of businesses in litigation matters, primarily in the areas of complex insurance coverage issues, commercial litigation, mortgage lending disputes, employment disputes and health care liability. Whatever the issue, she believes that it is paramount to have the experience and understanding to advise clients on the possible outcomes and costs of litigation so that clients have a comprehensive viewpoint to make the strategic decisions that drive the litigation.

Insurance coverage clients routinely call on Pam for her coverage analysis and advice in cases ranging from basic property damage coverage, to bad faith liability, and upward to complex commercial disputes. These matters involve an extensive variety of claims, including environmental pollution liability, product liability, health care liability, toxic tort and various business torts, at the trial and appellate court level.

Pam has defended banking and financial institutions in mortgage lending litigation and federal consumer claims such as claims under the Truth-in-Lending Act, Home Owners Equity Protection Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, as well as an array of state law consumer claims. Beyond this, she has also defended business litigants in product liability, toxic tort and medical negligence claims.

Pam is an active member of the Defense Research Institute and various insurance-related committees, who believes that her own practice is enhanced by continually meeting and learning from others who similarly excel in these chosen fields. She is humbled and honored that her peers’ nominations have resulted in her being named as a Rising Star® and, more recently, as a Super Lawyer® by Wisconsin Super Lawyers® for the last three years running.
