Biography

I am a Miami-based attorney who specializes in family law. I practice family law in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

I immigrated to Louisville, Kentucky from Tehran, Iran at a young age. As an immigrant, I dreamt of becoming an attorney my whole life so that I could advocate for the underdogs.

For the last 10 years, I have held every role you can think of in the legal field. From a receptionist, client intake personnel, legal assistant, law clerk at a major firm, and now lawyer, you name it– I’ve done it. I received my juris doctorate in 2016. I thought I wanted to be a civil litigator and defend businesses and insurance companies, but I unexpectedly fell into family law and had the opportunity to work with some of the best family law attorneys in Miami, and I consider myself lucky for that.

I fell in love with the practice of family law because I am passionate about advocating for peaceful resolutions for my clients’ familial concerns. The metamorphosis of a person going through one of the most difficult times of their lives to getting a resolution and starting over is beautiful and meaningful to me.

I believe in brutal honesty with my clients. Sometimes I tell them things they don’t want to hear, but I believe in informing them every step of the way. I believe in being there for them unequivocally and providing them with tenacious advocacy, while also understanding that minimizing litigation is conducive to reaching a resolution. I pride myself on being an excellent communicator and analyzing the big picture while never forgetting that the devil is in details.

As seen in my client testimonials, my clients appreciate that I am extremely efficient, responsive, strategic, and caring. I treat all my clients like they are part of my family.

In my free time, I like to volunteer with the pro bono Guardian Ad Litem program to represent the best interests of children. I enjoy cooking, travel, and staying active with my husband, friends, and pets. The value of finding a lawyer who is the right fit for you cannot be overemphasized as you enter this next chapter of your life. I invite you to book a consultation with me to learn more about the process and how I can help you successfully move on to a happier life.
