Biography

Patricia Power represents corporations, local and tribal governments, and universities before Congress and the Administration, including the Departments of the Defense, Transportation, Interior, Agriculture, Energy, HUD, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corp of Engineers, on a broad range of topics, with a focus on environmental, energy and natural resource issues. Patty works with her clients to create effective strategies designed to efficiently solve their problems and meet their goals.

Prior to establishing her practice, she served in the Office of Senator John Heinz (R-PA) as a legislative assistant for environmental and energy issues. Patty also worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Water and Office of Legislation as an attorney-advisor, drafting legislation and regulations affecting the Clean Air Water Act implementation and toxic tort studies required under Superfund, and as a consultant to EPA on solid and hazardous waste regulations.

Patty is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and Washington, DC. She graduated from American University, Washington College of Law. Patty holds a B.A. in economics and political science, magna cum laude, from Adelphi University.

Honors / Awards

Patty was recognized by the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force for 20 Years of Leadership and Outstanding Contributions to Everglades Restoration in 2016.
