Biography

A Partner at HPM&B, Patricia A. Thornton joined the firm in 2008. She represents physicians and medical institutions in all aspects of the defense of medical malpractice claims.

Prior to joining the firm, Patricia represented plaintiffs in both civil litigation and surrogate court matters. While in law school, she was a member of the Hofstra University Family Court Review, where she served as research editor during her third year.

Patricia is an avid runner and is member of the New York Road Runners Club. She has completed several marathons. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.
