Biography

Patricia M. Moring brings her formidable experience to the areas of family law and probate law, combining a rich legal background with a deep commitment to her clients' well-being. A graduate of the esteemed University of Florida College of Law, she was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1987, marking the inception of a career dedicated to serving the legal needs of her community.

Patricia's journey commenced at James F. Spindler, Jr., P.A., where she honed her skills and gained invaluable experience. In 1989, she embarked on her solo practice, founding Patricia M. Myers, P.A., before joining forces with Jack A. Moring in 1994 to establish Myers and Moring, P.A. Their union both professionally and personally culminated in the renaming of the firm to Moring & Moring, P.A., following their marriage in 1996.

An active member of The Florida Bar and its Family Law Section, Patricia's contributions extend beyond her legal practice. She has been involved in various capacities within the Citrus County Bar Association (CCBA), including past membership in its Family Law Section. Patricia's commitment to upholding ethical standards is evident through her service on the Fifth Circuit Grievance Committee, where she has served as Chair, diligently addressing citizen complaints against attorneys.

Her engagement with professional organizations extends to the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and its Florida chapter (FLAFCC), as well as the Citrus-Hernando Inn of Court. Patricia's dedication to legal integrity is further demonstrated through her leadership as Chair of the Fifth Judicial Circuit's Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee.

Outside of her legal pursuits, Patricia embraces her role as a loving stepmother to Jack Jr., Philip, Jessamyn, Garrison, and Ryan, exemplifying her commitment to family values. An avid animal lover, she finds joy in nurturing and caring for animals in need, reflecting her compassionate nature beyond the courtroom.
