Biography

Patrick Calixte is an associate in our Casualty Department, where he focuses on the defense of clients and their insurers in a variety of civil litigation matters, including automobile liability, premises liability, construction site accidents, and general liability claims.

Earlier in his career, Patrick handled matters involving personal injury protection (PIP) litigation and bodily injury claims. He also spent time as part of a Special Investigative Unit (SIU) team, where he concentrated on fraud investigations involving both medical provider fraud and fraudulent claims by insureds.

Patrick brings a diverse legal background to his practice, having also represented plaintiffs in PIP and first-party property disputes.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and his juris doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2019. During law school, he served as a judicial intern in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and clerked for a litigation firm in South Florida.
