Biography

Patrick M. Weaver advises institutional banks, investment servicing providers, and financial institutions on regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters. Patrick advises Fortune 500 companies, investment banks, and emerging market companies on a wide array of aspects related to and in connection with investment matters. As the investment landscape continues to evolve, Patrick leverages his experience and knowledge to advise clients on the regulatory aspects of traditional and alternative investment vehicles, including digital assets and currencies.

Prior to joining GT, Patrick was an associate at another global law firm, handling transactional matters across diverse deal structures and industries. His experience includes advising private companies on general corporate and strategic financings as well as helping institutional, sovereign wealth fund, venture capital, and private equity clients structure their investments.

Patrick maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in matters involving financings and M&A transactions.
