Professional Associations and MembershipsHe joined the Patterson Law Firm in 1995. Pat is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State (including the Litigation and Workers' Compensation Section), and American Bar Associations Litigation Section. He has served in several committees including Civil Litigation, Legislative Committee, Workers’ Compensation Legislative Committee, Co-Chair of the Iowa CLE Seminar Committee for the Workers' Compensation Section of the Iowa Bar Association. Pat has been a speaker at the Iowa Workers' Compensation Symposium, the Iowa Workers' Compensation Lawyers Annual Seminar and the Iowa State Bar Association Seminar on topics including bad faith litigation, penalty benefits, trial presentation, cumulative injury law and ethics.
