Paul A. Barrera is the founding attorney of North City Law, where he provides strategic counsel and representation in business law, estate planning, real property, and probate matters. With experience in business disputes, commercial litigation, and Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act (TEDRA) cases, Paul takes a client-centered approach—actively seeking to understand each client’s unique interests and risks. His method emphasizes listening during client intake and identifying key issues, enabling him to offer tailored strategies and empowering clients to make informed decisions. Paul’s commitment to efficiency ensures resources are used wisely and focused on results. Prior to practicing law, Paul worked for six years as a cost analyst and fraud investigator in finance, saving organizations money through precise analysis and reporting. His previous legal experience includes roles with Amazon, AWS, and Avalara. Beyond his legal practice, Paul enjoys traveling with his wife and three children and staying current on political events. As a tax professional and attorney, Paul strives to protect clients’ interests, grow their assets, and guide them through life’s challenges. He is also a founding member of the Shoreline Bar Association.
