Paul Loriston

Paul Loriston, a distinguished professional, earned his B.A. in Economics from the New College of Florida in Sarasota in May 2018. During his time at New College, Mr. Loriston showcased his leadership skills by serving as the student body president and president of the Black Student Union.

Continuing his academic journey, Mr. Loriston received his J.D. from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, where he not only graduated but also had the honor of delivering the commencement speech for the Class of 2022. At Temple, he played pivotal roles on the boards of Temple Law’s Black Law Student Association and Political and Civil Rights Society. Mr. Loriston further enriched his legal experience through student clerkships with notable figures such as the Honorable L. Felipe Restrepo on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg, and the Honorable Richard Lloret on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky Giordano, he served as a criminal defense attorney in Philadelphia.

Actively contributing to the legal community, Mr. Loriston holds a position on the Executive Committee of the Barristers’ Association, an organization dedicated to addressing the professional needs and development of black lawyers, judges, and law students in the Greater Philadelphia area. He is also engaged in the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Fluent in Haitian-Creole, Mr. Loriston's diverse skill set and commitment to professional development make him a valuable asset in his legal endeavors.
