His adeptness extended to the management of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and the formulation of innovative structures to raise Tier-1 regulatory capital using REIT structures.

Paul's professional journey spans several years in institutional portfolio management, structured products, and mortgage trading. Prior to his legal career, Paul proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Hawaii.
