Pete Skvicalo

Pete Skvicalo is Black Hills through and through. Born and raised right here, he has a deep-seated understanding of the values and the way of life in western South Dakota. Before he ever stepped into a courtroom, Pete spent over fifteen years leading businesses in the Spearfish area. That time in management taught him how to be a straight shooter and how to keep a cool head when the stakes are high. He eventually took that practical mindset to the Mitchell Hamline School of Law and then into the Pennington County State’s Attorney’s office. As a former prosecutor, Pete knows exactly how the other side builds a case, which is a huge advantage for his clients today. Whether he’s navigating a complex legal issue or enjoying the South Dakota outdoors, Pete stays committed to the community he calls home.
