Biography

Peter Hardin is a nationally recognized criminal defense attorney with nearly 20 years of prosecutorial and defense experience. He began his career as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Captain and serving as lead counsel in courts-martial and administrative hearings. A combat veteran of Helmand Province, Afghanistan, he then prosecuted state and federal cases as a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. In private practice, Mr. Hardin has defended individuals and corporations in investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and local law enforcement agencies spanning antitrust, environmental compliance, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, healthcare fraud, money laundering, narcotics, firearms offenses, theft, illegal pornography, and driving offenses.
