Biography

Pete Mills has twenty five (25) years of experience in the practice of insurance defense specializing in Workers' Compensation defense. Pete practices in both the Oklahoma Workers Compensation Commission and the Oklahoma Court of Existing Claims. He has experience with all aspects of defense litigation including working closely with clients and employers to initiate and outline defense strategies, prepare pleadings, conduct all pre-trial discovery, obtain and present witnesses for deposition, Trial and legal research and writing. Pete has successfully pursued appeals to the Court and Commission en Banc and the Supreme Court. Mr. Mills is a Member of the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame Executive Counsel and Member of the Jim Thorpe Award Selection Committee.
