Biography

Peter J. Schulz is Managing Partner of Schulz Brick & Rogaski and focuses his practice on advising policyholders regarding insurance coverage, claims strategy, and risk management. Drawing on more than three decades of legal experience, he helps businesses and individuals maximize insurance assets, resolve coverage disputes, and achieve practical solutions to complex legal challenges.

Mr. Schulz serves as coverage counsel and trusted advisor to a broad range of businesses and individuals. He works closely with clients, insurers, brokers, and attorneys to identify coverage solutions, navigate claims issues, and facilitate resolutions when insurance coverage plays a significant role in a dispute. His experience enables him to recognize opportunities and develop creative solutions that might otherwise be overlooked, often helping clients resolve matters efficiently and effectively.

In addition to his insurance coverage practice, Mr. Schulz serves as outside general counsel to a variety of local businesses and individuals, providing practical legal advice on business, risk management, and dispute-avoidance issues. He is known for the personal attention he provides to clients and for building long-term relationships based on trust, accessibility, and sound judgment.

Mr. Schulz joined the firm (formally Greco & Traficante) in 1994, became a partner in 1999, and currently serves as Managing Partner. He is AV® Preeminent™ rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected to Super Lawyers® from 2013–2017 and from 2023 to the present.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mr. Schulz earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, cum laude, from St. Olaf College and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.
