Biography

Pierson Backes, of Trenton, New Jersey, holds admission to the bar in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A graduate with honors from Hamilton College, he earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Temple University.

Mr. Backes served as an editor at the Temple University Law Review. He is a member of the Mercer County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is a former member of the board of directors of Headlong Dance Theater in Philadelphia and the Northeast Organic Farming Association – NJ, and is presently a director of Pura Vida Animal Rescue.

His practice areas include estate litigation, estate planning, and estate administration.
