Biography

Rachael is an Associate in the Advocacy and Litigation practice group. She has appeared at all levels of court in BC and is experienced in mediation of disputes.

Rachael’s primary practice is in estate and trust litigation. She has experience advising executors, beneficiaries and trustees on all manner of issues arising out of estate and trust disputes, including complex estate matters that lie at the intersection of estate law, family law and corporate law.

Rachael also maintains a broad practice in civil and commercial litigation, and has an interest in administrative law and appellate work.

Prior to joining Farris, Rachael practiced at a boutique estate and tax law firm and articled at a large international firm where she gained a breadth of experience across a broad range of practice groups.

Before entering the legal profession, Rachael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cambridge.
