Rachael D. Neff

Open for Business
Rachael D. Neff: Attorney with Ball, Kirk & Holm, P.C.

Biography

Rachael Neff brings a unique mix of small-town work ethic and big-league legal skills to Ball, Kirk, & Holm, PC. Growing up on a farm in western Iowa, she learned the value of hard work early on, which she took with her to Drake University Law School. She didn’t just graduate with high honors, she was a national champion in arbitration and earned top awards for her trial advocacy. Before joining our firm, Rachael spent five years in Cedar Rapids, where she actually worked in insurance defense. That’s a huge plus for her clients today because she knows exactly how the other side thinks in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. She’s also a skilled family law attorney, trained in collaborative law to help families navigate tough transitions like divorce and custody. Whether she’s presenting at legal seminars or fighting for a client in court, Rachael is a powerhouse advocate. When she’s off the clock, she’s likely cheering on the Hawkeyes or the Packers with her husband and dogs. She’s the kind of lawyer who combines a sharp legal mind with a down-to-earth approach.

The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements, certification, specialization or self-proclaimed expertise. A description or indication of limitation of practice does not mean that any agency or board has certified such lawyers as specialist or expert in an indicated field of law practice nor does it mean that such lawyer is necessarily any more expert or competent than any other lawyer. All potential clients are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any lawyer being considered. These disclosures are required by the Supreme Court of Iowa.
