Biography

Rachel E. Cohen grew up in Akron, Ohio and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Akron. She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice and received the “Undergraduate Sociology Student of the Year” award. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated cum laude. In law school, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Environmental Law.

Ms. Cohen has specialized in helping individuals obtain Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income. She has represented hundreds of individuals at disability hearings before Social Security Administration Judges both locally and across the country.
