Biography

Rachel earned her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. During law school, she served as an intern with family court Judge Dennise Garcia, presiding Judge of the 303rd Judicial District Court of Dallas County. Rachel also interned in the Child Abuse Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and with the Family Law Division of Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. Rachel gained hands-on experience working with family law clients as Chief Student Counsel with the SMU VanSickle Family Law Clinic.Rachel began working part time with Adam L. Seidel, P.C. during her final year of law school, and then full-time after graduation.Rachel has assisted numerous family law clients in complex property division, child custody matters, and paternity suits. She is experienced in providing essential legal support in trials and contested court hearings, as well in mediation and other collaborative settlement processes.Rachel grew up in Plano. When she is not practicing law, Rachel enjoys exploring the city, hiking with her dog, and experimenting with new Italian recipes.
