Kaplan Bankruptcy Firm, LLC, was founded originally as The Law Offices of Melvin J. Kaplan and Associates, P.C., by Melvin James Kaplan, Esquire over 60 years ago.  Mr. Kaplan helped thousands of families in Illinois save their homes and find dignified solutiions to their financial problems.  As his daughter, I began working at his office in high school and all throughout college and law school and have continued his legacy of helping people get out of debt and get back on their feet.  I have been practising in bankruptcy law since 2001 and have worked tirelessly to establish our firm as the alternative to the larger "bankruptcy mills".  We here at Kaplan are dedicated to providing the best quality legal representation for our clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 and getting  them through a tough period in better shape than when they came in for their consultation.  We will carefully analyze our clients overall financial problems and their goals, and make sure all aspects of their case are expertly and carefully handled to ensure the best possible outcome in their case.
