Biography

Raul Suarez Jr. is an associate attorney practicing in the Rio Grande Valley office of WSHB, where he handles all facets of complex civil litigation.Raul earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he developed practical legal skills as a student attorney in the Probate, Domestic Violence, and Immigration Clinics. During law school, he contributed to CURRENTS Law Review: Journal of International Economic Law and obtained his Mediation Certification.Following graduation, Raul served as an Assistant District Attorney in Hidalgo County, where he practiced criminal law for over two years. In this role, he tried four felony cases and numerous misdemeanor cases to verdict.Raul is fluent in English and conversant in Spanish. Outside of his law practice, he enjoys running and reading thriller novels. In 2024, he completed the Austin Spartan Super 10K and now regularly participates in 5K races.
