Raul Villalobos

Raul Villalobos, founding attorney at Villalobos & Associates, began his storied legal career as a Cook County State’s Attorney, driven by a passion for justice and fairness cultivated over nearly 50 years. Born and raised on Chicago’s Southside, Raul witnessed the legal system’s inequities, fueling his desire to create change. Graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1974, he initially served as a fierce prosecutor, eventually rising to head felony prosecutor at 26th and California, one of the nation’s busiest courthouses. Transitioning to private practice, Raul founded Rodriguez and Villalobos and contributed significantly to civil litigation. His extensive experience includes representing thousands of clients in both criminal and civil matters. In high-profile cases, like the 2007 E2 tragedy, where he secured not-guilty verdicts, Raul demonstrated his adept legal acumen and commitment to advocacy. Today, he continues to champion fairness and transparency in the legal system.
