For more than 50 years, clients have counted Raymond E. Saunders among their most trusted advisors, not just in law, but in all aspects of their business.

Ray specializes in corporate structure, business transactions, income tax, mergers and acquisitions, and trusts, estate and gift tax (including cross-generational transfer and ownership of business). He is technically proficient as a lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant, but his strength is his pragmatic approach and ability to craft simple solutions to complex problems. He has developed the skill of being able to provide concise and simple oral and written explanations of complex legal and business matters.

The partners of Lawrence Kamin have such respect for Ray's sound business judgment that they chose Ray to manage their own business decisions. For more than 20 years, Ray acted as the sole managing partner of our law firm. He established most of the procedures and practices that currently are being followed by the firm. As one of his long-time partners once summarized, Ray "is an incredibly capable lawyer who, in the course of handling the multitude of details involved in a legal matter, never loses sight of the important business issues."

Ray enjoys traveling both domestically and abroad with his wife Inez. As a senior partner of the firm, Ray enjoys working with and supervising other attorneys. However, he so enjoys the practice of law that he wants to be immersed in the decisions that are important to the clients.
