Biography

Patrick Smith has been in private practice in the Greenville/Spartanburg area for the past 17 years, emphasizing disability law, personal injury, complex litigation, and construction litigation.

He represents injured people, as well as businesses in legal disputes; prosecutes and defends mechanic’s liens, bond claims, contract claims, and warranty claims; and represents owners, design professionals, subcontractors, general contractors, and material suppliers before state and federal courts and arbitration panels.

A 2000 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Patrick is admitted to the South Carolina Bar, U.S. District Court, and Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice and is a contributing author of the South Carolina Construction Law Desk Book.
