Rebecca Elaine Klein Magness

Rebecca Magness is an associate with The Hudgins Law Firm, P.C. Her practice focuses on construction litigation, commercial litigation, and personal injury. Rebecca primarily represents general contractors, subcontractors, and premises owners against suits alleging construction defects, breach of contract, negligence, and premises liability.

Rebecca is experienced at handling varying aspects of complex litigation, including preliminary case evaluation and investigation, preparing and arguing motions, witness preparation, taking and defending depositions, and mediation of disputes.

Rebecca co-authored a CLE article entitled “Damages and Lost Profits: Texas Supreme Court Update,” which discusses changes of law in light of recent Texas Supreme Court rulings from 2014 to 2017 regarding damages, including lost profits, attorney’s fees, and exemplary damages.

Rebecca earned her Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in 2017 and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Forensic Anthropology with a minor in Biochemistry from Baylor University. She is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas Construction Law section and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.

During her off hours, Rebecca loves spending time with her husband and their friends. Together, they enjoy attending sporting events, hiking, and traveling.
